Description

Mercury Blueprint, Escape Concepts. Features two side views and two aft heat shield views of the Mercury spacecraft. Illustrates a design study by Goodyear of a proposed rocket propelled "ejection seat" type escape system. Approximately 35x53 inches, folded. Scale is 1/10.

Mercury blueprints of any type are extremely rare. Signed by Scott Carpenter, Wally Schirra and Gordon Cooper, with "Faith 7" added.
