ROOSEVELT, THEODORE. Typed Letter Signed, “Theodore Roosevelt”, June 3, 1916, Oyster Bay, New York, 1 p., 7” x 10”. Minor toning, horizontal and vertical folds, else very good. Ex-Forbes.
Roosevelt writes to his friend, Carl Akeley of the American Museum of Natural History in New York.
In full, “I am touched at your letter. Why, my dear fellow, you are one American in whom I most heartily believe. Any club would be honored to have you as a member.”
