Lot 0021 Details

A lot of 3 Egyptian scarabs and an inlay. Lot includes a pair of Egyptian scarabs, New Kingdom, c. 1570 - 1075 BC, the first a lovely carnelian example carved in nice quality stone with an incised star on the base, 13 x 11.5 mm, the second a faience scaraboid with domed back, the base with standing deity holding a staff, 12.5 x 10 mm. Also includes is a glass paste scarab and inlay, Late Period, c. 664 - 30 BC, in a nice opaque turquoise blue, the scarab of nice style with hole for suspension and flat back, 10.5 x 8 mm, the second an inlay in the same blue glass paste in the form of a seated baboon, 14 x 9 mm.
