Glazed ceramic. c. 1850. Urn 1: Height: 18 1/2", Diameter: 10". Urn 2: Height: 17 1/2", Diameter: 10 1/2". Pair of Chinese lidded urns. White ground with blue floral motifs. Symbols to sides. Convolvulus bindweed symbols. Hei characters. Lids. Both marked to underside with Chinese writing. Provenance: From the collection of Mr. Andrew Weertz, owner of Ports of Call, Ltd. import store in Grosse Pointe Park, Michigan.
