Description
A French Majolica asparagus and artichoke serving platter with drain by Fives-Lilles, circa 1890, pattern 1305. Glazing of greens and blues on a white ground, with a hint of lavender on the spear heads of the asparagus and the thistle-like head of the artichoke plant. The shaped rim conforms to the leaves and artichoke flower. Rim chip under one of the corner flowers as shown in photos. 14.25" x 10"
