Large American Federal Period Bull's-eye Mirror, early 19th c., framed with ornate carved decoration, topped with spread wing eagle above an applied rosette flanked by acanthus sprays, round mirror with carved channeled frame, acanthus sprays flanking a shell and rosette at base, oil gilded, 49 1/2" high, 29" wide. Replaced backboard, minor gilding losses.
