Description
Pair of 19th c. Meissen Porcelain Lamp Bases, wired as table lamps, with intricate molded and hand painted floral and faux marble decoration, square bases, blue painted crossed swords mark on bases, single socket fixtures with harps, 32 1/4" high (with harps), 7" diam. Gilding losses, one lamp has base edge frits and a small firing crack inside of base. Provenance: Note from consignor indicates these were purchased at auction in 1951 or 1952 from the Dodge Estate, Miami Beach, FL. This home was later demolished to make room for The Fountainebleu Hotel.
