Description
A George III Carved Giltwood Mirror
18th Century
Height 57 x width 40 inches.

Property from the Collection of Marion and Henry Bloch, Kansas City, Missouri
Condition
Overall sturdy, attractive, professionally conserved condition. The mirror is period but the glass has been replaced with later glass which has been aged to look old. The gold has been professionally (and expensively) re-done with gesso and proper burnishing. Scattered minor repairs, a few age cracks, chips and gilt losses as is typical.
