A rare and early British William IV 1822 Pattern Infantry Officer's Sword (reign of King William IV (1830-1837)). Brass hilt with a leather wrapped grip, wound with a brass twisted wire. The blade bears no marks and is pitted. Metal scabbard painted in green, brass fittings top fitting is stamped "LI/3" (top fitting is cracked at the throat).
