Isaac Hollis and Sons of London, England percussion smoothbore large caliber rifle for shooting either ball or shot. Octagonal barrel with percussion patent breech ignition system and single trigger. Rear leaf type sight with blade front. Barrel marked "I. Hollis and Sons, London". Percussion lock marked with Hollis name and stamped in a circle "Maker's to Her Majesty's War Department". Walnut checkered pistol grip stock with iron hardware including a oval engraved patchbox. Ebony ramrod with brass tips. CONDITION: Traces of original finish with handled parts turning a silvery patina. Wood has original finish with usage scratches and dings. Shootable bore with good mechanics.
