Description
Sheath is 6 - 1/2" long and 2 - 1/4" wide. Overall 14 - 1/4" long. Circa last quarter of the 19th Century. Blue background beaded knife sheath, likely Sioux, sinew sewn and fully beaded on both sides. Classic half buffalo track on one side and geometric designs on reverse. CONDITION: Very good with very little bead loss. Trade knife is 7 - 3/8" long. Marked "WM Greaves and Sons". Condition: Dimensions: 8" x 2 - 1/2" x 1".
