A highly stylized carved wooden ladle with ancestral face on top and wonderful overall form. A feast ladle generally awarded to the most hospitable women in the village and yearly harvest ceremonies. The Spoon measures 28 x 8 inches. Provenance: A Private Ohio collection, Field collected by Rev. W. Adkins, prior to 1965
