The folding map is "Map of the South-Western Portion of the United States, and of Sonora and Chihuahua. Illustrating the Travels of Dr. W.A. Bell. Compiled by E. G. Ravenstein, F.R.G.S. &c." It measures 32.2x36.5 cm. The map plate shows the harbors of San Francisco, San Diego, and Guaymas.
