Condition
The collection of books in this auction were part of a large group of furnishings rescued from a private home in Galveston, TX. For over 30 years there were periods of a lack of air conditioning, heating or general maintenance and cleaning/dusting. Therefore, they were exposed to extreme conditions of heat, cold and humidity. Many volumes exhibit the effects of these conditions, including loose covers, foxing, mold and brittleness. The images & the descriptions form part of the condition report. Prospective bidders should exercise caution and review the photos carefully before bidding, as all sales are final. Please see the description for any specific comments regarding condition.
