A second phase Navajo chief's blanket, handspun wool with dyes of red, black, grey, yellow, and brown. Circa third quarter 19th century.

Measures 50" x 46".

Provenance: The collection of Shirley Bush Helzberg.
Condition
A few snapped warp strings (<1") on the band adjacent to the center square (weft threads remain intact in that area). A small hole along the border band.
