THE FRAMES MARK OF BUCCELLATI, SECOND HALF 20TH CENTURY; ONE WINE TASTER MARK OF JOACHIM ALEXIS LAMBILLON, MÂCON, 1739; THE SECOND PROVINCIAL, 1798-1809
The picture frames with two oval and one rectangular, all with shell and rocaille borders, all with easel backs, reverse marked Buccellati, Sterling; the wine tasters both circular with partly gadrooned sides and borders of chased bosses with serpent ring handles, the first engraved to the rim P DVMAS, marked to underside with maker's mark, Mâcon décharge mark for 1731-1774, and date letter; the second engraved to the rim E DHERBIER, marked to rim with provincial fineness mark and large guarantee for 1798-1809 and with maker’s mark, unclear
