Roycroft Ali Baba Bench, c.1910, with plank seat retaining bark to the underside, on a trestle style base joined by a mortise and tenon jointed stretcher, stamped Roycroft orb and cross mark on leg, monogram "A.S.H" to the top of polished seat plank. Dimensions: 19.5 x 42 x 11 in.

Some water stains and wear to the finish on top of bench. 1 water stain from plant, center of bench seat. Normal wear to finish at edges of top, sides and legs. Underside under-side natural bark, has a row of old nails along the both ends running perpendicular, holding down the bark as it appears that it starting lifting some time ago. Some losses to natural bark;a larger area of bark-loss toward the corner which has the Roycroft stamp. Felt tabs added to all four feet; shrinkage occured and the bench has slightly warped, therefore a small sliver of leveling wood had been tacked onto (easy to remove) one foot, feet have not been cut or shortended.
