Description
English Georgian Style Mahogany Beau Brummel, 19th c., the fold over top opening to an interior lacking its fittings, above a faux drawer and double cupboard doors, over two faux drawers, and a single side drawer on the proper left, on square tapered legs, H.- 34 1/4 in., W.- 22 in., D.- 18 in. Provenance: from the Estate of Gertrude "Peggy" Logan Simpson Howcott, New Orleans, LA.
Condition
Condition as is. Slats of shelf fall through, especially center slat. Two holes worn in varnish on top right panel. One faux drawer pull detached but present. A 5 in. thin strip of wood is detached but present. A handsome example.
