Aqua cloth binding w/ gilt lettering and pictorials on spine, blind stamped wave pattern on front board w/ a gilt pictorial of a whale, teg. 281pp. Contents fine. Binding soiled, spine ends and corners rubbed; together with KENDALL WHALING MUSEUM PRINTS by MV and Dorothy Brewington. Sharon, MA, 1969. 209pp., 1st edition signed by both authors on f.f.e.p., with prospectus laid in. Covering the prints in all media of the whaling vessels and scenes, the stranded whales, sea life, sealing and walrus huntings, views of the world ports frequented by whaling vessels for supplies, the shipment of oil and bone, or visited for rest and recreation, and finally toys and games. Some dust soil to top edge, all else fine.
