    Wayne Ensrud was born in 1934 in Minnesota. He has lived an illustrious life as an artist. He was the first American painter to exhibit at te French Institute Gallery - a true honor. As a young painter he learned the necessity of art when he became the protegee of Oskar Kokoschka, the 20th century master painter.
    Throughout Ensrud's career, he has been commissioned to design pieces for some of N.Y.'s finest French restaurants. He has also served as a free lance art director and animator for ABC, CBS and IBM. His works are in many important musuems and private collections.
