The metal generally smooth and gray with traces of blue, and the loading lever retaining 80% original blue. Just some scattered patches of salt and peppering, with one small patch of very light pitting on the upper portion of the frame, minor. Mechanically crisp with fine markings and excellent bore. Grips also excellent with just one tiny chip on the bottom of the right grip, retaining most of an old coat of varnish. A very nice example of this desirable Remington revolver.
