Item Details

Description

Chinese 18/19 Century Hard Wood Round Box with fine Shell Inlay to cover and base of Flowers, Auspicious Objects and Calligraphy; cover with bottom edge in white bronze. Diameter 8 3/4 inches (22.3 cm.).

Condition

Age related wear, shrinkage cracks, several small shell inlays missing from cover and base, white bronze edge loose, cover top re-glued.
