3pp., 13 x 8.25 in. (some soil, adhesive used on small tears at folds at verso). Signed in type by Philip Debell Tuckett, Clerk to the Meeting.

Illustrative of the strong anti-slavery sentiment in the Quaker community, with a paragraph on page 2 reading in part, "As a Christian society we have found it our duty to promote the abolition of the Slave-trade; and, although the Legislature of this country hath not yet done away this evil, it still remains our steady concern to discourage so iniquitous a traffick...."
