Turkish, early 19th century. 16 cal silver mounted flintlock pistol with octagonal and round barrel featuring highly decorative repousse panels, wrapped metal wire to handle. Several marks present, silver maker's mark, three proof marks, and remains of numbering. Provenance: Acquired from Czerny's International Auction House on June 15, 2019, lot 695. Approx. length 19" (full), length 13" (barrel).

Condition
Surface wear commensurate with age. Loose panels of silver, small remnants of gilt overlay, scattered dents and scratches to wood. Previous repair with glue residue to pommel, can see break.
