Il mercato dell’arte: Fausto Pirandello

ROMA – Figlio del famoso drammaturgo Luigi Pirandello e di Antonietta Portolano, l’artista Fausto Pirandello nasce a Roma nel 1899. Inizia la sua formazione artistica presso Felice Carena dopo la seconda guerra mondiale. Le prime opere firmate risalgono ai primi anni 20 e il debutto espositivo è del 1925 alla terza Biennale Romana dove mostra un quadro di bagnanti, un tema che lo accompagna per tutta la vita. Sebbene sia vissuto a Roma, la sua famiglia era siciliana e i lunghi soggiorni in Sicilia hanno influenzato la sua paletta cromatica, con i colori caldi della terra bruciata dal sole, la luce accecante e l’azzurro del mare.
