ABERDEEN, Miss. – Original artworks by Andy Warhol and Marc Chagall will come up for bid on Saturday, Aug. 8, at a sale of the contents of one of Mississippi’s most stately antebellum homes, Lauri Mundi, built in 1847. BEACHWOOD, Ohio – The most famous American weather vane is the Grasshopper that topped Faneuil Hall in Boston in 1742. Early weather vanes of the 1800s often had a cow, horse or eagle. But as more manufacturers started making decorative outdoor iron furniture, unexpected figures appeared in rooftop weather vanes.
