SANTA ANA, Calif. – “Mighty fine” was a favorite expression uttered by auctioneer Don Presley in describing the premium items in his sales. Presley is departed but Don Presley Auction gives him a nod with a sale May 21 dubbed “Mighty Fine May Antique, Art Deco & Porcelain.” Absentee and Internet live bidding is available through LiveAuctioneers.

15 indicted in eagle trafficking case; more charges expected

RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) – Federal officials in South Dakota said Monday that 15 people have been indicted for illegally trafficking eagles and other migratory birds after a two-year undercover operation potentially involving hundreds of birds.
