NEW ORLEANS – A portrait painting of George Washington done in the manner of Edward Savage, an oil painting titled Native American Bow Hunting by H. Irving Marlatt and an American Rococo carved mahogany half tester bed, circa 1850-1860, stamped “C. Lee” are star lots in Crescent City Auction Gallery’s March 24 and 25 sale. University recovers stolen black rhino horn

BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) – The University of Vermont has recovered a black rhinoceros horn with a potential street value of more than $100,000 that was stolen from a locked storage room on campus last year, the school announced Tuesday.
