NEW YORK – Regardless of whether your childhood was good or bad or something in between, cartoons were part of it. The thrill of collecting original animation cels is holding a piece of your childhood in your hands and displaying it in a place of honor. Thousands of drawings comprise the animated shows and movies created between 1930 and the 1990s, and it is entirely possible for you to literally own a piece of your favorite one.

On September 2, starting at 4 pm Eastern time, Jasper52 will host an auction titled Animation Cels 1930s-1990s. Absentee and Internet live bidding will be available through LiveAuctioneers.
