‘Abstract Odyssey’ brings fine prints to Jasper52 September 25

NEW YORK — Jasper52 has announced Abstract Odyssey: Fine Prints Auction, a 337-lot sale featuring fine prints from the 20th century taking place Wednesday, September 25. The complete catalog is now open for early bidding exclusively at LiveAuctioneers.

The first highlight is Femme Assise, a 1961 print from Maurice Esteve of France. Measuring 13.75 by 10.75in and printed on heavy matte paper, the print is signed by the artist but not numbered. It is estimated at $110-$150.

Panorama XX Siecle 1968 was a recurring art revue that had launched 30 years prior and featured many prints from fine artists of the day. Italian Marino Marini created Guerrier for the event. The print is not signed or numbered but comes with a certificate of authenticity. It is estimated at $300-$350.

The final highlight is Perinthia, an unsigned print by American artist Frank Stella. It is dated to 1996 and is estimated at $80-$100.
