Spectacular Sabbadini gold and diamond ring topped Doyle auction

NEW YORK – Doyle’s jewelry sales continue to surpass expectations. With competitive bidding, the auction of Fine Jewelry & Luxury Handbags on Wednesday, July 20 totaled a successful $759,843, with an exceptional 100% sold by value.

This exciting sale showcased a wide array of stylish creations by such prestigious makers as Van Cleef & Arpels, Sabbadini, Tiffany & Co., Elsa Peretti, David Webb, Elizabeth Gage and Charles Loloma, as well as fine watches by Rolex and Cartier. From the estate of a Park Avenue lady came a selection of luxury handbags by Chanel and Dolce & Gabbana.

Highlighting the auction was a two-color gold, Fancy Intense yellow diamond and diamond double bombe ring by Sabbadini that achieved $25,200, surpassing its estimate of $10,000-$15,000.
