CHICAGO – On May 19, Wright will presents the Design Masterworks auction, the first in a series of sales dedicated to exceptional designs of the 20th century.

Design Masterworks is a tightly curated sale featuring only the best and rarest works by important architects, designers and artists of the 20th century. Composed of less than 20 lots, this small sale features seminal works that define their time and historical moment, masterpieces that appeal to the sensibilities of the connoisseur and the collector alike.

A monumental Sonambient sculpture by Harry Bertoia is estimated at $200,000-$300,000.
A large and impressive mobile by Leo Amino, circa 1958, is estimated at $50,000-$70,000)
Frank Gehry’s Winton Guest House (estimated at $1,000,000-$1,500,000) is also being sold in this exclusive sale. Completed in 1987, the small 2,300 square foot house is a work of art that needs to relocate.
