Aidan Foley sale features Irish artists, musicians Apr. 13-14

MALLOW, Ireland – Aidan Foley Auctions will conduct auctions on Monday and Tuesday, April 13-14. The first sale consists of music posters, LP’s and related collectibles. It will be followed by a selection of Irish art, Persian rugs and collectibles. Absentee and Internet live bidding for both auctions is available through LiveAuctioneers.

Monday’s auction is composed of items related to the Irish music industry. Recording artists featured include the Cranberries, Thin Lizzy, Roy Gallagher and U2. The sale presents rare items from the private collection of famed Irish radio disc jockey Lorcan Murray.

Aidan Foley Auction’s sale on Tuesday showcases works by Markey Robinson, J.P. Rooney and other Irish artists.

The sale will open with a collection of 40 Persian rugs in many sizes and types. The lineup also includes furniture, jewelry, decorative arts and collectibles.
