LAMBERTVILLE, N.J. – On Saturday, June 9, Rago Auctions will offer more than 40 investment quality collectibles across a wide swathe of interests: sports collectibles and cards, historical and political memorabilia, aerospace memorabilia, vintage movie posters, fountain pens, and weapons and militaria, culminating with a 1793 Treasury Letter penned and signed by Alexander Hamilton. The one-page handwritten Hamilton letter (above) is dated Dec. 16, 1793, and regards matters of the U.S. Mint. Hamilton, a Founding Father, served as Secretary of the Treasury from 1789 to 1795.
