EL SEGUNDO, Calif. – Premiere Props has announced that they will be auctioning iconic Hollywood memorabilia at their Holiday Auction Extravaganza on Saturday, Dec. 10, and Sunday, Dec. 11. LiveAuctioneers.com will provide Internet live bidding both days of the sale, which will begin at 11 a.m. Pacific.
Previews are scheduled for 9 –11 a.m. both days of the sale. The auction will be conducted at Premiere Props’ headquarters in El Segundo, Calif.
Movie costumes are from an all-star cast: John Wayne, Pittsburgh, 1942; Steve McQueen, An Enemy of the People, 1979; Robert Redford, The Natural, 1984; Kirk Douglas, Top Secret Affair, 1957; Johnny Depp, Blow, 2001; a Christopher Reeve Superman costume; and Don Johnson and Philip Michael Thomas costumes from the 1980s TV series Miami Vice.
A pair of gold high heels worn by Marilyn Monroe will also sell as well as a full jumpsuit worn on stage the Godfather of Soul, James Brown.
Also going to the highest bidders will be a collection of Michael Jackson items including a deed and signed check to Neverland Ranch, an original letter signed by Jackson to keep his animals at Neverland Ranch, a self-portrait from his Bad tour, signed Billie Jean lyrics, personal album awards and stage-worn signed fedora from the Victory tour.
