NEW YORK – Roland Auctions NY will present a colossal single-day sale of nearly 1,000 lots on Saturday, March 4. Featured in this sale are 500 lots from estate of a former U.S. Army combat surgeon and Purple Heart recipient. Absentee bidding will be available through LiveAuctioneers.

The auction consists of several specialized collections including grand your bronzes, Chinese antiques, mid-century modern furnishings and fine art by 20th century modern masters.

The offerings from this Greenwich, Conn., property represent the second of several installments comprising more than 2,000 items to be sold in subsequent monthly estate auctions.

The additional 400-plus lots of fine and decorative arts in Saturday’s auction have been selected from choice estates throughout Manhattan and extending out to Southampton, NY. Fine art will have bidders vying for paintings, sculpture, prints and photography not offered in the marketplace for decades.
