BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. – Various Chinese ceramics and antiques from a Wilshire Corridor penthouse will be sold in an I.M. Chait Gallery auction Sunday,  Aug. 11. The 561-lot auction will begin at 11 a.m. Pacific. LiveAuctioneers.com will provide Internet live bidding.

The Asian art, antiques and estates auction will feature:

  • Snuff bottles, netsuke, textiles and Buddhist objects, together with Japanese antiques from a Southern California estate;
  • Chinese and African carvings including old and antique ivory, and hard stones from a San Pedro collection;
  • Numerous gemstones sold to benefit the AS&F Foundation from the Hubert Eaton Collection;
  • Pre-Columbian ceramics, archaistic vessels and numerous scrolls from various American collections
  • Antiques and furnishings from two important Beverly Hills collections, including those from a Hollywood movie star.
