Asian treasures hold sway at I.M. Chait auction Nov. 8

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. – I.M. Chait Gallery / Auctioneers’ Asian arts, antiques and estates auction on Sunday, Nov. 8, will feature lovely antique Chinese and Japanese porcelain, wood and bronzes from the Hashimoto estate. LiveAuctioneers.com will provide absentee and Internet live bidding.

The nearly 500-lot auction includes:

  • Small Chinese carved hardstone, jadeite and fluorite vases and urns from a Beverly Hills collection.
  • Fine ladies’ diamond and sapphire set rings, bracelets, earrings and necklaces;
  • Art from the ancient Mediterranean world, including: votive offerings, coins and etc. from a local collector;
  • Chinese, Korean and Japanese silk and paper paintings depicting floral, figural and animals.
