NAPLES, Fla. – Auctions Neapolitan will conduct a sale of decorative and fine arts totaling more than 450 lots on Wednesday, June 15.
“This will be a great auction with a good selection of fine art, a lot of very unusual collectible items and a number of rarities. We expect there to be very affordable items as well as a number of high value lots,” notes Kathleen Pica, owner of Auctions Neapolitan.
Absentee and Internet live bidding will be available through LiveAuctioneers.com.
One of those highly anticipated lots is a Dale Chihuly blown glass freeform bowl (above) from his “Macchia” series. This colorful piece has a $4,000-$8,000 estimate.
Another of the high value items is an oil painting (below) of an Impressionist street scene signed “Isaac Israel,” which is estimated at $9,000-$12,000.
Also, a Daphne Odjig oil painting (below) titled Conference of the Elders, 23 1/4 x 20 inches (canvas), has a $6,000-$9,000 estimate.
Among the many silver lots is a large and lightly used set of Wallace sterling flatware in the “Lion” pattern (below), 102.7 troy ounces, which is estimated at $1,600-$2,200.
Eight lots of gold coins include two scarce 1874 $3 Princess Head coins, which will be sold separately. These ungraded coins are estimated at $500-$700 each.
