FURSTENFELD, Germany – Auktionshaus Gut Bernstorf Fine Art Auctioneers, located in a beautiful old estate close to Munich and well-known for auctioning exclusive private and public collections of fine arts and Old Master oil paintings, will present the 17th Fine Art Auction on Saturday, Sept. 29. The auction starts at 1 p.m. Central European Summer Time. LiveAuctioneers.com will provide Internet live bidding.

Auktionshaus Gut Bernstorf will present an interesting collection of about 200 excellent oil paintings of European masters. The highlight of this auction is a rare Netherlands master painting portrait of an old man by Frans Hals (1580 Mechelen-1666 Haarlem) in excellent condition. Hals is well known for his portraits, mainly showing wealthy citizens of his time, like Pieter van den Broecke and Isaac Massa, some of them painted multiple times. He also painted some large paintings of local civic guards and for the regents. He was one of the famous Dutch Golden Age painters who practiced an intimate realism – approaching this with a radically new view.

The huge selection of fine porcelain (Nymphenburg, Allach, Meissen, KPM Berlin and Herend), crystal glass, sculptures and fine, antique carpets from Persia, Turkey and China will satisfy any collector.

Also featured will be the old German private collection from Herbert Ritter von Molo: selected pieces of Pre Columbian Art.

Greek and Roman ancient art are also an important part of this auction.

Auktionshaus Gut Bernstorf provides worldwide shipping at reasonable rates, without any overcharge. Careful, secure packing and insurance is provided.
