SUNRISE, Fla. – On April 28, Hill Auction Gallery will present Property of a Rockstar, Etc., a curated auction of almost 750 lots of art, furniture, fittings, decorative pieces, and other treasures from Mark Tremonti, musician and founding member of the rock bands Creed and Alter Bridge. The Grammy award-winning guitarist and songwriter recently refashioned and remodeled his mansion and consigned select pieces to Hill Auction Gallery. Absentee and Internet live bidding will be available through LiveAuctioneers.

The sale includes striking Gothic Revival furniture and decorative pieces, among them a Gothic Revival adjustable recliner throne chair, estimated at $100-$1,000. It also features architectural elements, most notably a salvaged wrought-iron arch door estimated at $100-$1,000, and also a complete Roland TD-10 electronic drum. The ensemble features eight pieces, including cymbals, a percussion sound module board, and a custom-formed metal frame. The lot is estimated at $100-$1,000.

The auction features more than 50 works of art that fall within the graffiti, outsider, naive, and folk art categories, in addition to sculptures and found object artworks. Artists represented in the Property of a Rockstar, Etc., sale include Peter Keil, Ernest Rosenberg, Gregory Davis, Brenda Davis, and the prominent 20th-century African American artist and blues musician Jimmy Lee Sudduth, whose undated, signed work Blue Indian Dancer is on offer. Sudduth rendered it in part with natural mud. Blue Indian Dancer measures 48 by 24 inches and is estimated at $100-$1,000.

The lineup also includes 18K gold Rolex and Omega watches, designer couture, crystal-infused Jay Strongwater interior decor, Danish and British ceramics, century-old Native American pottery, Chinese jade sculptures, historic Japanese erotic art, and also three lots of bejeweled crystal decanters by Dallas designer Ann Cichon, each carrying estimates of $100-$1,000.
