GALLUP, N.M. – Billy the Kid Auction House will conduct an online-only auction of a collection of Native American estate jewelry on Sunday, May 28. Absentee and Internet live bidding is available through LiveAuctioneers.

The auction is composed of an array of contemporary, antique and vintage bracelets, rings, earrings, squash blossoms, necklaces and concho belts. Most pieces are adorned with genuine turquoise or other semiprecious stones.

One of the star items in the 500-lot auction is a sterling silver vintage genuine turquoise needlepoint necklace by Zuni artist Harry Melikan (above).

Rings include a silver and turquoise ring signed by famous artist Dakota T. Willie (below).
