MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. – Charleston Estate Auctions and E.S. Griffith will present an exclusive auction event of exceptional fine jewelry, rubies, sapphires, emeralds and large diamonds on Sunday, Nov. 24. This auction comes from one of Charleston’s eminent families. The event will offer several jewelry previews, by appointment, as well as private events with Charleston Estate Auctions’ senior jewelry appraiser Stephani Peterson, available to answer any questions. The auction is highlighted by an 11.12 carat radiant cut diamond ring (above), a 6.01 carat and two 1.90+ carat round brilliant loose diamonds, 4.50 ct/tw diamond stud earrings, large rubies and sapphires.

Noteworthy gold jewelry includes a set of large 14K gold curb link necklace and bracelet, a two-tone 14K gold collar, heavy 18K gold panther bracelet studded with cabochon rubies, a solid 14K gold 4-inch-wide bangle, and several other large important pieces.

The watch collection includes a men’s 18K gold and diamond Rolex, and a women’s 18K gold, diamond and sapphire Rolex.

– Lot 102: 18K gold Rolex Oyster Perpetual Day-Date Just watch with a diamond bezel. The watch has a round gold face which measures approx. 30.40mm wide at the crystal with a day window at the 12 o’clock position, date at the 3 o’clock position. The watch has an aftermarket diamond bezel featuring 44 bezel-set round brilliant cut diamonds. The presidential band has a fold-over clasp, a high polish finish and the piece weighs approx. 134.50 grams (est. $11,700-$18,000).

– Lot 70: 22K gold sapphire and diamond cocktail ring featuring one four-prong set, 4.50 carat oval faceted blue sapphire set in the center of an elaborate diamond halo that contains 10 prong-set round brilliant cut diamonds and six prong-set, tapered baguette cut diamonds with a total carat weight of approximately 1.50 carats (est. $12,500-$19,500).
