MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. – Charleston Estate Auctions and E. S. Griffith are will present an exclusive auction event of exceptional fine jewelry, rubies, sapphires, emeralds and large diamonds from prominent Charleston and Manhattan estates on Sunday, Dec. 13, at 1 p.m. Eastern time. Absentee and Internet live bidding is available through LiveAuctioneers.
No jewelry will be held on-site and only select items will be available for preview. Appointments will be necessary for all local previews. Bidders will be required to have an established bidding history; no bidders will be accepted to this auction without an established history or an established relationship with CEA.
The following are a few of the highlights of this 129-lot auction:
– A necklace of emerald 55 round cabochon beads (approximately 450 carats) set on 18K gold wire (above).
– A 14K gold ring that features one large GIA-certified 11.12 carat radiant-cut diamond flanked by two triangular faceted diamonds on either side with a total carat weight of approximately 3.75 carats (below).

– A 22K gold, large emerald and diamond dinner ring that features one step-cut emerald (4.99 carats) set in the center that is accented with 10 round brilliant-cut diamonds set above and below, two marquise-cut diamonds on either side and nine channel-set round brilliant-cut diamonds set in the shank in three rows.
