CHARLESTON, S.C. – Charleston Estate Auctions’ December Holiday Auction is here again. The auction features a wide selection of fine art, antiques, sterling silver, fine and estate jewelry, Lladros, Rookwood pottery, Lalique and sterling ornaments, toy trains and gifts. The online auction will be conducted Dec. 8 beginning at 1 p.m. Bid absentee or live online through LiveAuctioneers.
Fine art includes an Alice Ravenel Huger Smith (1876-1958) original Blue Heron watercolor (below), a Basil Ede Tundra Swan lithograph, a large Paul Dubois bronze Le Courage Militaire, circa 1880, and two Gracie Studio hand-painted wallpaper panels. Monumental sterling silver includes a large Gorham silver basket, a Dominik & Haff sterling aesthetic centerpiece (above), a 19th century Irish potato ring, repousse sterling, American coin silver, a five-piece coffee/tea service, and other sterling and coin silver serving pieces.

From the Estate of Dr. Fraser Wilson of Charleston, S.C., comes a pair of Louis XV alabaster and sterling silver candelabras, a 19th century pair of giltwood mirrored two-light wall sconces, German and Asian porcelain, 50+ pieces of 19th century Canton ware, Japanese woodblocks and several pieces of antique furniture.
