BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. – I.M. Chait Gallery / Auctioneers will conduct an Asian & International Fine Arts Auction on Sunday, Jan. 22. Absentee and Internet bidding is available through LiveAuctioneers.

The auction of nearly 350 lots features Chinese art and antiques. On the high end of the offerings is a large gilt bronze figure of Tara from the 18th or 19th century. The statue (above) is estimated at $25,000-$30,000.

Another top item is an early 18th century porcelain dish (below) bearing a Yongzheng mark. This important piece also has a $25,000-$30,000 estimate.

From the Western world comes an assortment of fine jewelry, including a men’s 18K gold Rolex Daytona Cosmograph wristwatch valued at $20,000-$24,000.

Additional lots range from paintings to sterling silver and even a French Gothic Revival-style gilt harp.

The auction will begin at 11 a.m. Pacific Time with a selection of antique snuff bottles.
