“Going into this season, we made the deliberate decision to combine our live and online auction into one comprehensive online sale, which will represent the highest valued online watches sale ever offered at Christie’s, said specialist Remi Guillemin. “The sale will also be the first Christie’s auction to offer a timepiece valued with an estimate of $400,000-$600,000. Throughout this year, we have witnessed an increased comfort level of digital transactions, and with the recent record success of our recent Dubai and Geneva online sales, we felt that this model is best suited to meet our clients’ evolving needs.”
