LONDON – Christie’s Handbags & Accessories department announces the global sales calendar for June and July 2020. A total of four live and online auctions are scheduled, presenting the most coveted brands and model handbags. The series begins in London with an online auction that will conclude June 25. Christie’s Handbags Online: The London Edition auction, presents over 100 of the most collectible pieces ever created, comprising the most desirable brands including Hermès, Chanel, Fendi, Dior and Louis Vuitton.

Highlights by Hermès include a rare matte white Himalaya Niloticus Crocodile Birkin 30 (above), a limited edition Picnic Kelly (below) and a custom matte Mimosa Alligator Birkin 25.

Featuring accessories crafted for the runway, only available in select limited editions, as well as vintage treasures, the sale offers a handbag for every collector at a variety of price-points.

Christie’s Hong Kong live Handbags & Accessories auction on 10 July will present a curated selection of the most coveted handbags currently on the market. The sale is led by the sensational Hermès Matte Gris Cendré Himalaya Niloticus Crocodile Diamond Birkin (est. U.S. $130,000– $190,000).

Christie’s New York online auction of Handbags & Accessories, taking place from July 14-28 will present over 160 of the most coveted handbags spanning classic silhouettes to unique runway pieces.

Christie’s London live auction of Handbags & Accessories on July 31 will present 100 years of handbags, accessories and travel. From 1920 to 2020, the sale presents a journey through time, celebrating the evolution of the bag.
