Character ceramics lead parade at Jeffrey Evans Dec. 5 collectibles sale

MT. CRAWFORD, Va. – Jeffrey S. Evans & Associates’ special cataloged collectibles auction Saturday, Dec. 5, will present more than 150 character and figural cookie jars from the Gloria Mayo collection. Included are Little Audrey and many other rare examples.

Also featured will be about three dozen pieces of Hull Little Red Riding Hood, rare Shelley and other teapots, ceramic banks and Disney planters.

The Ed Kleppinger collection of more than 350 Murano and other glass clown figures (below) and decanters will be sold along with collections of Czech glass figures and Blenko glass.

Red Fiesta dinnerware (below) from the collection of Charles N. Keye will be sold to benefit the Museum of American Glass in West Virginia.
