NEW YORK – Jasper52 will conduct an Exquisite Decorative Arts online auction on Tuesday, Dec. 29. The auction consists of well over 400 lots of decorative arts to enhance any interior, from art glass to bronze sculptures. Bid absentee or live online exclusively through LiveAuctioneers.

The sale is a mix of contemporary and vintage objects. The latter category is led by a pair of bronze Alpine skiers (above) designed Curtis by Curtis Jeré of California in the 1960s. Brothers-in-law Curtis Freiler and Jerry Fels combined their names to form the signature brand that produced “gallery-quality art for the masses.” These downhill skiers, each on an onyx base, are expected to finish at $700-$88.

A pair of large mirrors in split reed frames in the style of Italian designer Gabriella Crespi (1922-2017) form the design of a stylized palm tree when hung side by side. The mirrors are expected to sell for $2,000-$2,500.
